166 | Blessed Are Those Who Are Persecuted For Righteousness' Sake

We explored how this type of suffering is distinct from general hardship, emphasizing that it arises from a deep-rooted malice against our beliefs. As we examined the scripture, we came to understand that when we are persecuted for our commitment to Christ, we should find solace in our heavenly reward. We acknowledged that while facing adversity is counterintuitive to human instincts, experiencing persecution can bless us greatly in the eyes of God.
