In this episode of the PACT Podcast, we discussed how Christians can approach God’s will and decision-making with wisdom, faith, and freedom instead of fear. We talked about the difference between God’s revealed will in Scripture—such as following Christ, avoiding sin, and making disciples—and the everyday decisions Scripture does not specifically answer, like choosing a school, career, or major life path. We emphasized that when we are seeking to honor the Lord, praying for wisdom, consulting Scripture, and listening to wise counsel, we can trust God to direct our steps without living in constant fear of making the “wrong” decision. Using examples like Joseph’s life, we reflected on how God is sovereign over every season, even when we cannot fully understand His plan in the moment, and we encouraged believers to focus less on anxiety over outcomes and more on having a heart that desires to glorify and serve God in every choice we make.
