What to Expect on a Wednesday Night

Bethlehem Student Ministries begins each  Wednesday night with a time fellowship between students and adult leaders.

Students are then invited to open God's Word as we work through books of the Bible
and meaningful series,
drawing out the meaning of the text and learning how the Word changes us and impacts every area of our lives.

Intentional Discipleship

By the end of a student’s time in Bethlehem Student Ministries,
he or she will be equipped in the essentials of the faith,
prepared to share, defend, and live out the faith with wisdom
in the local church and in the world to the glory of God.

The Life of Christ

Through the Gospel of John, students will move from a distant or abstract understanding of Christianity to a personal, historical, and theological encounter with the
Person of Jesus Christ.

Identity & Wisdom

Students will be anchored in a biblical understanding of their God given purpose, identity, and design as men and women, and through Proverbs, come to know what it means to walk in wisdom and lead as servants.

Foundations of Faith

Students will learn how to study Scripture and be equipped with a robust understanding of theology, ensuring students have a systematic framework for understanding the whole of the Bible and the faith.

Biblical Worldview in Exile

With resilience and clarity, students will learn to see and interpret the culture around them through the lens of Scripture and endure faithfully as “strangers and exiles” in a secular world.

Discipline & Mission

Students will be discipled to be active practitioners of the faith in the spiritual disciplines (personal and corporate), to identify their specific gifting in the Body of Christ, and to embrace their call and role in missions.

Walking by the Spirit

Students will develop a convictional,
grace-centered defense of the faith,
preparing them to live out the faith
in the face of mounting ethical issues.

Meet Bro. Adam

Associate Pastor of Family Ministry

"As the Associate Pastor of Family Ministry, I understand my role to be that of an equipper of students, parents, and the whole church family for living the Christian life together with a distinctly biblical worldview for the glory and enjoyment of God. I really enjoy backpacking, books, great coffee, and lounging around with my four favorite people, my beautiful wife, Kara, and three kiddos, Haddon, Eleanor, and Carver."
