Sunday School at Bethlehem Baptist Church

Connecting with the church is vital to one's walk with Christ. Through these small groups, we are able to learn and grow together, and to rejoice and weep with one another. Here we remind each other of God’s truth weekly, digging into His scripture so we are better able to live life like Jesus, together with one another.

Below you’ll find a list of our current Sunday School classes. Not sure which one you want to join? Talk to Bro. Tim or Bro. Adam after the service. Or, try a couple of different ones to decide where you feel most comfortable and connected. If you have children or teenagers, please talk with us so we can help you find the right class for your children: 

Adult Classes

Auditorium: Adult Sunday School Class

Teacher: Ismael Gurrola
This class meets in the Auditorium each Sunday just after 1st service. Made up of various ages, the class walks exegetically (verse by verse) and thoughtfully through books of the Bible. This class is a great introduction to Sunday School at Bethlehem for visitors! 

101: Adult Sunday School Class

Teacher: Roger Davis
This adult class currently utilizes the curriculum "Bible Studies for Life" to study through books of the Bible and to gather application for life. 

102: Senior Adult Sunday School Class

Teacher: Dwight Davis
This Senior Adult Class utilizes The Gospel Project curriculum for Bible study and active group discussions.

202: Women’s Sunday School Class

Teacher: Kim Graves
This women’s adult class is for women, age range 40s and above, who are single, widowed, or married attending church alone. The group is made up of strong prayer warriors, committed to lifting up one another and our loved ones through God’s Word and prayer.

205: Adult Sunday School Class

Teacher: Steve Ernest
This adult class utilizes the "Explore the Bible" curriculum to walk through the storyline of Scripture and to discuss God's Word together. Several in the class are retirees seeking to grow in their faith and to use their retirement years intentionally on mission.

206: Adult Sunday School Class

Teacher: David Rambo
 Moving exegetically (verse by verse) and thoughtfully through books of the Bible, this class is made up of primarily middle-aged adults who seek to grow in the Word alongside one another.

207: Adult Sunday School Class

Teacher: Korie Bowles
Using "Bible Studies for Life," this class studies Scripture together and discusses the meaning and application of the text for all areas of life.

209: Senior Men’s Sunday School Class

Teacher: James Presson 
This class of senior men meet together using "Explore the Bible" to thoughtfully study and discuss God's Word. 

210: Adult Sunday School Class

Teacher: Scotty Kelly
This adult class is made up of men and women who are on average in their 40s, currently parenting or just entering into the "empty nesting" stage of life. Currently, this class is utilizing the Sunday sermon to go deeper into the text and to discuss the meaning and application together. 

301: College/Young Adult Sunday School Class

Teacher: Jonathan Reynolds
This class ranges from college freshmen to young adults just setting out on their own. They study Scripture together and wrestle with big questions to help sharpen one another in the faith.

303: Adult Sunday School Class

Teacher: Daniel Pugh
Using "The Gospel Project," this class studies books of the Bible and uses the curriculum to guide class discussion. Many in this class are currently raising children in various stages of life.

304: Adult Sunday School Class

Teacher: Jeff Davis
This class utilizes "Bible Studies for Life" to guide their study and discussion of God's Word. The class is made up of a wide range of adults across many major life-stages.

305: Young Adult Sunday School Class

Teacher: Brandon Sickling 
This young adult class walks exegetically (verse by verse) and thoughtfully through books of the Bible, and is a great point of entry for young married couples in their 20s and early 30s. 

Middle and High School Classes

The middle and high school classes listed below are committed to discipling students in the Word through exegetical (verse-by-verse) teaching, personal relationships, and challenging students to think seriously and deeply about the Christian life.

Children's Classes

The children's classes listed below are arranged by age/grade. Every teacher is committed to teaching the truth of God's Word and to partnering with parents to see their children discipled in the church. 

309: 2 Year Olds

Sunday Nights at 5:00

Connect Classes are another great way to connect with other believers in God’s Word. This is a time of asking tough questions and digging into the Word to understand His truth.
 
Throughout the year we have varying classes aimed at equipping Christians. The schedule follows the Fall and Spring semesters, and we offer different classes each year. Like our Facebook page for updates on upcoming classes! Even if you miss the first ones, you can always jump in the next week!
